Gander Mountain grand opening, Auburn, Alabama
I think it opened a month ago but it still smelled brand new in there. This store is heavy on the guns for sure as you can see. I snapped pic's of various depts. They had a great variety of deer products from seeds, attractants etc. It's not very often you get to visit Bass Pro and Gander Mtn all in the same day but, I did.
I'm glad I grabbed up the sweet corn syrup at Bass Pro because they didn't sell it at Gander Mtn.
Bass Pro at noon today.
Gander Mountain at 4:00pm today

Didn't even try to get over there as the gun and ammo section looked like a grab and run section and I don't like elbow to elbow with lots of jokers I don't know.Fallguy wrote:Our they gouging good folks on the evil black guns??
I'm sure they were jacked up and knucklehead bought his guns legit from Gander Mtn too!

Man Gander's shelves are packed full, you think they'll stay that way once the new wears off? I live at the home of Bass Pro and rarely do I leave there not pissed off by their empty shelves.

That Bass Pro in Montgomery, Al today had shelves all stocked up. I don't know how the Gander will look in a bit but, I can always wander over there for my food mix concoctions I hope and report back for ya.

Sorry to say I we actually walked through there and didn't even buy a thing!NantucketShedHunter wrote:I'd be like a redneck in a candy store there!!!
That was very difficult to do but, the economic disaster going on has me leaving the mason jars buried on wasteful spending.
