How long do you usaully wait to check your cameras if you know they are in a good spot. Got some that I put out last weekend and cant wait to check. I just dont want ot push the deer out of their.

Try to be patient. I know it's hard but you should wait at least a month. Any earlier and you just end up messing up the spot with your scent.

Well most of my sets are just along the feilds so i can quickly drive up with the 4-wheeler and be out again and plus the deer usually only come out during the night so i dont run the risk of spooking allot of deer! But if i set a camera in a bedding area or a real thick area and i know that deer are in there during the day i try and wait as long as i can wich usually isnt more then 2 weeks lol but if im working the cams sit for a long time before i can check them!

so if its in an area that holds deer during the daytime wait as long as possible a month would be good!

Go in mid-day with a rain or strong wind to avoid spooking deer. Mine at home are checked daily, but my urban deer know me and don't go far if they happen to be around. All of our cams are set on food plots, corn, or licks.

Yeah, if you have cameras looking over food, you can check them every day. I do that when one of my cams is set up over bait.
When a deer is offered food, they let their guard way way down.

I go in almost every 2 or three days to check my cam that is over the corn. The stump, I let that go a week. I want to see what happens after the food is gone from the stump.....

I check or change them weekly. I always have some kind of food or attractant at the cam sets. I don't ever have an issue with smell as always stated. Smokers, boots with do-do on them, animal scents from home, B-O, taking a dump all constitute that stink factor. Rambling all over with dogs and touching everything, breaking branches with bare hands etc. contribute to all that.

If your on a active run, rut trail or near a bedding area you should have pictures pretty consistently. I waited a month when I bit the dust with my back and went back and it was a disaster. Things were outa order so I like to make a presence weekly on top of when my buddy visits. I have a big area I can cover so months at a time here won't work. I have went back in 3 days and checked such as tomorrow to spray more oily corn concoction on the tree trunks for attractant in the air. I'm going to soak the loose corn on the ground also.

For me it depend on the location. If it's on a field edge I can get away with checking them every day. In the thicker stuff I TRY mrgreen and let them go a week, sometimes longer.
