Me and my brother spent the day planting trees and I had 2 ticks crawling on my jeans and he had one. Anybody else found any yet while out and about.

We have them pretty much year round here. Nightly, we go over our dogs (since they always are playing outside) for ticks.
Last year was horrible for them here, since it didn't get cold enough for them. I have a feeling that this year is going to be the same....

Frontline is a great product that works as advertised, but has doubled in price the last few years, making to expensive to use except during peak tick months, May-June for me.

We have tried that... It kills the ones attached, but we still find them crawling on the dogs..... They get them when they run through the grass coming back from their play pond.....

Nothing popping here yet. I'm surprised though as it hasn't been real cold either just rainy. They were bad last year as it was in the 80's already by this time a year ago. The trees are blooming and budding already though.
