Falling asleep

How many of you fall a sleep while hunting. I will never allow my self to go while sitting up in a tree stand. The one spot that gets me is my goose hunting blind when It's early goose season in septmeber and the sun is stll out for a long time. The one day I went out set the decoys got the dogs and everything ready for the night. Layed down to start stairing to the sky and I was asleep. Woke up a couple of hours later when my dad pulled into the feild with his truck. Sure was refershing though.

Happens all the time for me! Turkey and deer hunting is what gets me! When I have been working all week and I get out in the woods on saturday at 5 in the morning to hunt turkeys you will most likely see me sleeping lol Last spring me and my friend went out and both of us were sleeping on and off we used to wake up after awhile and call a few times but we dozed back into sleep the next time we woke up there were 3 longbeards 15 yrds infront of us around the decoy lol

and same with deer hunting but if i know im tired i dont go up in the stand!

I can't sleep setting up. I've spent the night several times in my deer blind sleeping on the ground or a cot, at best I slept an hour total through out the night.

I doze but, never close. Old military tactic along with ... travel light and freeze at night.

I always Find myself dozing off but never really sleeping!

Most of the time I'll got out and sit all day, but I'll only see a couple of morning ours and a couple before dark. For some reason I always go to the ground blinds.

I doze, but don't sleep. My sister on the other hand is a different story
