Fav turkey gun and load?

What are you guys using for turkeys this year? i have my mossberg 500 12 gauge with a tightwad choke and some winchester XX loads #5 shot and i can easily put 7 to 8 BBs in the kill zone at 50 yrds I was real impressed with how the gun was shooting! Sister was using a remington 870 with the exact same setup as me and as you seen in the video both guns did great! What are you guys using ?

I have the exact some gun you do. The scary thing is I shoot the exact same loads as you do and I love it also.

That cool ! what kind of a choke tub edo you have on your gun?

I just shoot the Modfied choke that came with it. Seems to patteren pretty good. What kind do you use with it?

I am using the tightwad choke cost about 20.00 and it works great when i was using the regular full choke that came with my mossberg i was only able to get a few bbs in the kill zone. the tightwad choke would almost fit into the full choke thats how much tighter the shots will be!!

My gun of chioce is my CZ-USA 712Magnum, Think I usually shoot 2 3/4" winchester xx loads 4shot, with the full choke that originally came with the gun. I shot 3" 5 shot federals the opening morning of youth this year, and i'm NEVER using those again. Shot well while seeing how it'd group, but got a dud bullet when a tom was strutting at 25yrds. The wad only went a little over 10yrds, where it usually went 20.

835 mossy here 12 ga in 3 1/2 inch mag. I have missed birds that are too close.gotta shoo them out there some times

3 1/2 inch shells will kill a bird lol ! and jeff i was using the federals last yr and had good success with them ! this year with the tightwad choke i was not able to use them since the wad went out 45 yrds and the gun was not accurate with them !

Mathews Switchback XT, Goldtip 5575's and Spitfires unless its the last day. Then the Red dot scoped 20 gauge 870 comes out complete with the Rhino choke tube and 4x5x7 3 inch Nitros. It's a deadly combination out to about 45 yards or so.
