I chose Moultrie. I own 4 of their cameras and have had very little problems with all of them.

I chose Bushnell. Since I have had absolutely no problems out of my bushy. My Moultrie M80-XT has been nothing but problems. Which has been sent back to Moultrie for repairs....

I picked Moultrie. We've had 25 of them going back to the 35mm days and have never had one defective out of the box. Have returned a few, but in hindsight only 2 had problems. Moultrie is affordable and tries to improve their line-up each year from increasing flash range to reducing motion blur and now coming out with the Panoramic 150.

I have to choose ScoutGuard. I've had 2 of these and ran 1 into the grave with no issues and gave the other one to my hunting buddy. I should've game him that crummy Acorn I have. LOL
I didn't see homebrews listed obviously but, they take the cake overall.

I choose Reconyx. I've owned Moultrie, Bushnell, Uway, Covert, Oldboys Outdoors and Primos cameras and although they aren't bad cameras. I really didn't know what I was missing until I purchased my first Reconyx camera this spring. I finally found a camera that can pretty much eliminate motion blur at night on a trail. Along with a incredibly fast trigger all bundled up in a black flash camera. I'm not saying they are perfect as you won't find one out there that is, but they are the closest I can get. I also wouldn't give up my other cameras either. They all compliment each other very well.

I chose covert scouting cameras because I feel they off the best all around cam. The price, reliability, pic quality, trigger speed is really good and their battery life is awesome. I might be a little biased because I am a pro-staffer for them but I owned quite a few other cams and I love the covert line. Scoot

Going to go with scoot on this one for all around best camera I like the coverts they are priced within reason They take great pictures ,awesome battery life , Sensing is good , Very reliable cameras, Most of the cameras are small and compact, Now I'm sure there's cameras that take better pictures and might be better in a few areas but For the price you cannot beat the coverts
