I hate straps. I won't use them. I use a mount called the Quick Detach Camera Mount. http://www.huntnbuddyproducts.com/HomebrewQDMPage.html

I Gorilla Glued it to the back of my D55IR and it works very well. Here is the D55IR deployed using the Quick Detach Mount-[/i]

Thanks, TCG. In this particular set, I placed the camera up higher than I normally do. About 6 feet. I'm hoping the deer don't see the red blob at night.
