Fawns tried to run me over!
I'm coming around the old pond that's grown up in prime bedding cover with blackberry briars, multiflora rose, honeysuckle, and various trees when I jump a deer on the other side. No big deal it happens all the time. I'm looking at this doe when I hear running in front of me, I turned my head to see 2 fawns running side by side right at me like they don't even see me. I side step one then side step the other. Both run right beside each leg, I could've easily grabbed both of them. Then they both just stopped less than 10ft behind me not even looking at me, they were just trying to figure out what mom was doing. Then another doe blew from down in the hollow and went running across the field to join up with the other doe. I kept walking and the 2 fawns just stood in the same place for at least 5 minutes never looking my way before they finally threw up their little tails and ran to the over grown fence row next to some round bales. These fawns acted like I was invisible and never knew I was there, and this was in the wide open hay field in the middle of the day. I don't know what's up with the animals around here. Same spot this past winter a coyote didn't want to run from me, this spring for the first time in my life a gray snake jumped out of the grass and tried to bite me, a rabbit in the field was letting me walk right up to him, a groundhog let me walk 3ft from him before he ran off, a hen turkey tried to attack me, and now this. I'm worried I won't survive this fall when the bucks start coming around....lol.

Lol, hopefully you'll have a gun or bow when the bucks come Wonder if theres some kind of magnetic field there that somehow makes you invisible until thier a couple ft away. You might just want to sit there during hunting

Poor little things don't know what a human is yet. Couple years ago while checking on a cam a tiny fawn came right up to me. It stopped short, thought a while and then ran away. I would run away from a big dumb redneck too!!
