We went and hunted at my brother's land today and 2 cams had the sd card stolen out of them. Feel lucky they didn't take the cams, but still pretty hacked off. Had 3 cams in the powerline 40yds apart and I guess they didn't make it down to the 3rd one. Bad thing is they know all about the food plots we have planted now. The biggest question is did they take the cards because their pic was taken or did they want to see what deer are on the cards? Also are they going to come back and try to hunt or drive the deer out when we're not there (gun season starts next Sat)? Have had the land for 12yrs with not a problem until this year when it got paid off. Took those 3 cams down, right when the action is really picking up. Guess cams in this spot will be kept under lock and key from now on. Think we'll take all are old defective cams, put locks on them, set them up high in plain view, and line them up and down the powerline. A thief can spend all day removing cams, only to find dummy cam after dummy cam.

We just set together in the same blind disgusted with the theft, but did see deer. Had a 2 1/2 yr 7pt and a yearling spike spend an hour in front of us eating and fighting. Another yearling spike joined in towards the end. All would've been caught on the Spypoint if I didn't have to take it down.

Guess the only upside is that they didn't actually steal the cams.
I'd try and hide a camera at one end of the powerline and set it to timelapse to see if they come back.

A couple weeks ago I had two kids steal the card out of my Recon Force. Long story short, I found out who did it and threatened to cut their hands off if they didn't give my card back. I got my card back. The dummies didn't erase the card before they returned it. Their picture was on the cam walking up and stealing the card.
