WARNING!!! DON'T BUY A BOLYGUARD CAM!!!

Just want to give a heads up to all, so they don't get burned. Bought a Bolyguard SG565f-8m and it had problems right off the bat. Have found out the hard way that when you buy a Bolyguard the warranty is useless. There is no way to reach there customer service. Their email address's will not allow an email to send. The phone # just say's customer is unavailable and leave a message after the tone. Don't know if it's Boly or the phone company recieving the message (no response). Sent a message thru their website (no response). Sent a message thru their Facebook page (no response). Only thing left to do is to write a letter to them a mail it to them. This company is nothing short of criminals. They sell cams on their website and places like ebay, but know if you buy one you will not be able to have it repaired or replaced.

If anyone associated with Bolyguard reads this. I just want what's legally mine A ONE YEAR WARRANTY!!!

Finally got a call back today from Boly. She was hard to understand, had me living in Wisconsin, gave me the wrong zip code for Boly, but did give me an RMA #. Their cs dept needs a major over haul, but I feel fortunate to get something done. I was surprised that they didn't seem to care that the cam was bought on ebay and didn't ask for proof of purchase. I'll let you know what the turn around time is like.

Lesson learned- If you want a Scoutguard, buy a cam that say's HCO Scoutguard and not Bolyguard/Scoutguard. If it say's Boly/Scout then it's a Bolyguard and you'll be dealing with Boly Media Communications Inc.
