The Moultrie Pano 150 is my favorite cam. It's the best cam for food plots, but I no longer have faith in it lasting over the long run. Sent it in once when the led's stopped working, but that can happen to any cam. Now when I check it the unit goes off and it bounces back and forth as fast as it can go. I'm starting to get pics where the left and right frame are the same pic from this defect. There's no way it wouldn't spook a buck when it's bouncing around like a humming bird. I guess moving parts in a mass produced china cam is just not a good combo lol. Think I'm going to send it in even though it's out of warranty. I'm going to include the replacement invoice instead of the original. At worst I figure they'll send a refurb unit.

Hopefully I don't have to include the D-444. Last Saturday I checked it and it read "Card Locked" even though the card wasn't and it didn't take pics all week. It was taking pics when I set it back up, so we will see. It had ants in it this Spring, so that may have lead to the problem. It's still under warranty.

Set the cam to singal zone and it has no problems. In Pano mode it bounces back and forth when I check it and the first pic it takes when I set it. After the rut is over and the bucks are gone I'll put it back in Pano mode and see if it still acts up. Moultrie seem's to be having issues with returns right now, so I hate to send an out of warranty cam in right now. If it breaks down completely then I'll just do a little hocus pocus and turn it into a new cam locally.

Yeah if one of my cams give out I always hope it isn't over deer season witch is the busy time of the year for the company's. I like the idea behind the pano camera but I can imagine there could be allot of problems with it to until they get a few of the kinks worked out of the design.

Now that the bucks are gone I've set the cam back in Panoramic mode and so far it's had no issues. Guess it just needed a break from pano mode.
