Checked a bunch of cams over the past few weeks. I'm taking a HUGE chance leaving them all out during the hunting seasons here. Every time I walk up on them I expect them to be stolen.

You've got some really nice pics Nan and glad to see the little squirt is still alive. With that said your pics depress me. Your bucks are 10 times better than mine. It's gotten so bad here that a 2 yr old is now a shooter, because he'll never see 3. Checking trail cams just leaves you disappointed anymore.

Do they limit the deer tags on the island or is there not that many hunters, because it would seem the deer could easily be wiped out on a island if not well managed?

I'm not a hunter but I'm almost certain that you are allowed 2 bucks and unlimited does during our hunting seasons. There are a TON of hunters here on the small island. It's a wonder we have any deer living on the island.

With such a liberal harvest it is amazing you've got any deer. It makes your buck pics even that more impressive. It's a wonder your bucks aren't strictly nocturnal.

I'd say 99.999 percent of my bucks are strictly nocturnal. We are right in the middle of the rut now. That's why all the day pictures of bucks.
