I am working on a IR unit that will have a slave flash installed for better night shots.
Still waiting for parts for the video unit.

I will post pics as this build progresses. It is a test build for a new slave flash controller.

Here is the case. It is at the guy's that does the dipping. The eye bolts don't go where they are at,
he was just showing me that he got them dipped.

I know J.K. will be watching this closely. mrgreen

Sorry for not being around much lately. Been busier than a one armed paper hanger. lol

Jim sent me one of his SlavePro1 boards for testing. Nice, neat little board!
I have my slave hacked and ready to install in the case with a SS2 and p41/IR.
Here are a few pics of the slave set-up.

Lights up the night pretty good. I will get some pics with and without the slave active once I have completed the build.
Should be done tomorrow night.

For those watching this thread, The slave flash can built as a stand alone flash and can be used
with commercial trail cams with white flash. Doesn't work well with IR commercial trail cams.

Here is a link to a build and pics. It is the same cam, same flash, just a different slave flash control board.
The red pic is what they look like before converting the pics to B&W.

There is no blur unless the animal is running by really fast.

Had this out back for a couple days. Only got the dog doing his business.
I went out tonight and took a few shots with the SS2 on trail mode. I swear that the slave
is ready before the cam writes to the card. This is a fast slave board! Took some without the slave
and some with it.

Thanks to Rodney (modeclan) for the camo on the case.

Thanks to FiremanJim for letting me test this SlavePro1 board.

I will be putting it on the creek this weekend for a week to check battery life.
