had a 2 six points within 30 yrds tonight, one was 5 yards away and had no idea i was there, coulda pegged him. Too bad i already got my buck. It seems as though all i see right now are little bucks, funny how the rut does that to them.

Can't kill a big one if you shoot a small one, but shoot the one that makes you happy. It's your time, money, and effort spent in the field, so shoot the one you want. Best of luck, hope ya stick a giant.

Well size was the main reason!!

and sodbuster thats what i was thinking gotta let the small ones walk!! but where i hunt is on a 680 acre lease and you have to buy a permitt to hunt there and about 30 other permitts were sold to hunters so im sure that there are other hunters there that will shoot what i dont shoot!! But I have not seen hunters yet!! so from what i have seen there hasnt been allot of pressure so far

The free pass is hard to do as I have done that numerous times. Was that buck taken out since I let it go or......
will it be here next year. Million dollar question there.
Keep the protein feeder out so if he is he'll be bigger next year unless he's on his down hill pace.
