G.R.H that's a big hole

I use a .22 lr around houses and a .17 for regular use

I would want to use a .22 mag for the extra knock down power

huntinOH whats the furthest you've ever shot a ground-hog with a .17 Question
The furthest I've shot a G-hog with my Mag is a little over 200yrds.

well a .17 will shoot farther but only because the bullet is lighter!!

A .22 mag has more knock down power !

its bullet is heavier ! now just for shooting birds a .17 is ok but for a fox or coyote out to a 100 yrds i would pick the .22 mag!!!

Very Happy
