How bad is the snow by you guys?Today I was snow shoeing through a place that I hunt. I jumped up into one of my treestands without the ladder. Really big drift lead right to it. The animals are really having a hard time. Saw 18 deer today they all looked okay but the turkeys are taking the worst. Sad thing is today I could have grabbed 3 of them. Walked right past them and then they got up and were only a few yards away.

Wow that's some serious drifts up there Bryce! My stands are 17' and up and to jump into one of those would be unreal. Get that alfalfa bales and corn out there for them my man! Hurry!

This stand was only one of them 12 footers but still I couldn't beleive it. pulled a haybale back their last night, looks like if they can get one more week it might warm up a little.

No warm up in sight so I see on the tube. Winter storm warnings up there Bryce. Have the mega bales on stand by and the 50lb bags of corn on pallets ready. They die off quick from starvation. Great time for the cams to be snapping pic's when eating too! They won't go far.

Last winter here on the island was the hottest winter in recorded history. No snow and no ice. This fall and early winter was another record. Hot and no snow or ice. We never have normal winters here anymore. I blame Bush.
