No not all cameras can. Only 3 out of 8 of my cams can be updated with new FW. Those are the Cuddebacks and the Moultrie. The only thing the moultrie's new FW did was give it a 15 sec delay and improved the sensing a bit. The Cudde's FW gave me the option to change flash brightness, pic quality improved some, and delay can go down to 5 sec. I wish I could do updates on all my cameras.

The FW is also suppost to give the picture better color.
I think the FW did it's job
I like the camera but don't think it's worth $200, I have seen a deer walk right in front of it once and when I went to check it there was no pic of it
