From Velvet To Hard Horned
I thought this was pretty cool from my 2011 Covert Reveal. I've been following this buck on my cams for a couple of years. I caught him one night traveling along his usual route in velvet. The next night he walked by the camera hard horned.
That was back in September. Then in November a guy I know texted me a picture of him dead during bow season in October. I'm really bummed because I wanted to follow him again this year on my cams and track his antler development.

Nice catch out of the same location. Hard to see a buck 2 years in a row down here and if you are lucky enough to see him 2yrs, there's almost zero chance of him making it a third.

I'm pretty sure this is him a different year. At some point in 2012 during velvet his left G3 was damaged and formed an acorn tip.
