Gonna be a hard season

It's sad to say but latley I have been turkey hunting and around every corner their is another dead deer. We are only 2 weeks into the season and got 4 more weeks to go. Between me and one buddy we are up to 46 dead deer. Most of them were small does but some were bucks. It's is still cold up here and nothing is growing.During the day is is pouring and during the night it is snowing. For the last 3 weeks we have had 2 days where their was no snow or rain. Them days it was blowing like crazy. I have 12 deer out behind the barn right now on what was spilled from loading semi's with corn. The coyotes are sure fat though.

Not good!! I would try and get as much food out for them as possible to atleast give a few deer something to eat!

Man that's a hard pill to swallow seeing that many dead deer. EHD hit my county pretty hard this past summer, but didn't see any effects in our spots. Hope it greens up soon for ya Bryce, so you have a few left for season.

It is illegal to bait and they are still cracking down on people around here for putting food out for the deer. It sucks.

I'll be mowing the grass for the 2nd time this weekend.

Man that sucks!!! It really bites that you can't feed em.... I hope the weather straighten's itself so you have something to hunt for this coming season!

Just looked at the extended forcast and the first couple of days in may is the first that we see 60 degree weather and we have a chance of rain every day other than one. I hope their wrong!!!!!!
