Tornado Touch Down

It has been a wild weather day here. I was at the Middle School waiting to pick up my stepdaughter when all of this happened. I was sitting in my jeep. She was in the school hiding under her desk.... I didn't know it was a twister.... I am ok. It was raining so hard, it was sideways.

A friend of mine's business took a hard hit. Incidentally, he took a real hard hit 3 years ago from a twister.....

Sorry to hear that. Good thing you are okay. I hate seeing tornados in person but I love storms. Was it lighting hard?

Yeah it was lightening real hard... For a little while it looked like it snowed from all of the hail on the ground.

Glad you're ok. Did they have the storm sirens sounding to alert people?

Thank you... It was a real hair-raising experience. I was pretty freaked out for a bit. After the storm, there was a tree that fell on a moving truck here in Waskom. They showed a picture of the truck on the news. Don't know if it is someone we know yet.....

They do in Marshall..... We currently don't have them here in Waskom. Wish they did though....
