Mo. bowhunter dies tracking a deer

Monday night a hunter around St. Louis shot a deer, called his wife to tell her he was going to track it, and never came home. While tracking in the dark he took a fatal fall down a 70ft deep sinkhole that had recently opened up from the rain. Sinkholes are very prevalent here. Every property we own has them and they can open up at a moments notice. Just goes to show that anything can happen in the woods and it's a good idea to hunt with a buddy and track your deer with a buddy. Hope all GJ members have a safe season.
