New Set (S600 Homebrew) Empty New Set (S600 Homebrew)

I set up over a creek this time. The deer are VERY leery of the camera in their spot.

Does it look like the flash went off in this picture?

A rat. I think the flash may be set to low. Or maybe it's just because it's a open area for nothing for the flash to bounce off of?

A squirrel.

I think next time I go in there I will tilt the camera so not so much of the sky is showing in the pictures. What do you think?

I like the set ! That first picture I cant tell forsure but it could seem like the flash went off or something ! It just has a differant glow to the picture ! And on tilting the camera the setup is great but the sky might be a little overtaking in the pictures ! I like that spot! should make for some great pictures soon !

Yeah, I think the sky washes out the pictures. Maybe with the leaves filling in soon it will make for a better picture. Less glare from the sky. I have the flash set so it won't go off during the day. The first picture was taken at 7:10 PM so it was just dark enough for the flash to automatically fire. It REALLY spooked the deer enough that they never came back. I've always had IR cams in this spot.

Yes, that is a second deer in the first picture. There is another right behind her out of view.

Looking at the deer's eyes in the first pic, I'd say the flash went off.

How many pics does it take at once? If it is set for one pic then how can anyone say the flash caused the deer to look when it obviously had to be already looking at the cam. Deer do notice cameras and look at them. Sometimes deer do get spooked by them just for the reason that it is there. IR can and does spook deer on occasion as well.
