anyone still at it?

Post by huntinOH on Sun Dec 09, 2012 2:29 pm

anyone still hunting deer?? I switched gears and am now hunting more small game animals mostly rabbits but i wanna get a few yotes called in. that would be allot of fun IMO! the last few weeks would have been perfect for deer hunting though! some real nice days! I still have a tag in my pocket and will probally try to get a deer in the upcoming 2 day shotgun season or the muzzleloader season.

Bow season ends Jan 15th here. Had a nasty rack small buck come through last night, so I may go in a couple hours. With the big cold snap coming they should feed heavy tonight.

I haven't hunted since the 1st gun season... I'm for sure hunting the 2nd gun season, and might do some late season muzzloader. Don't know if i'll hunt much more otherwise. Think our season ends Feb 5th, but not 100% sure.

Our rifle season ended Sat.so today I get to break out the .22 mag(if it quits raining) and go for squirrel.Found several pockets of them in rifle season so plan on stocking up for winter untill our Flintlock Season starts day after Christmas.
