The moultrie m80 and m80xt both worked ok after they got back from a overhaul from moultrie then as the season went on and got colder they went down hill and then quite after the temps fell into the mid 30's
The flash is such I have to put them up 7-8 foot or they get picked off pretty quick.sometimes i even cover the flash with black tape.

I went into a bowhunting set that i put up a year before i hunted it,waited for the rut this season and when i hunted it there was that big rub on the tree so i set the acorn cam up on my way out of the stand and this and about five other bucks cam to the same tree even some doe put there nose to it. This deer was never seeen during daylight. This is a 300 ac plot that, none of my guys ever seen him and I havn't shown them the pics. I have alot of pics of him the last two seasons all night pics.

Re: Water hole bucks
Being picky sometimes leads to tag soup my friend,Bad thing about trailcams tells us where the deer have been not where they will be tomarrow. But to be honest I passed on a couple of the smaller bucks hoping to get a chance at two of the big boys and they went under ground during what should have been the rut,But for some reason the rut turned off like a light switch and never turned back on. no scrapes no chasing.
