Re: Covert mp6
Great day shots Ray. I think it needs a little help at night or needs to be closer to the target. That's the bummer of black flash though. You got some unwanted guests it appears!!

Re: Covert mp6
Thanks guys! and GM Its not a blackflash camera but i am happy with the night pictures its actually further out there then it looks! usually the tasco didnt sence the deer out that far! It looks close since its up higher and aimed down on it.. And yes i do have some unwanted guests but not for long !! Going to put out a few traps for them.. I like seeing coyote pics just not on my cameras lol
Re: Covert mp6
Why I was asking about the high positioning is your limiting the PIR sensing of the camera when angled in a downward angle. The PIR's or HPWA Fresnel's see on a flat level plane for maximum effective range when sensing down range. Sharp angle reduce the diameter of the picture to a pin point location. If that's the intent, you nailed it for sure.
When the cam is placed at any angle more than 10-15 degrees off level plane you lessen the effectiveness of distance of detection. I've had cameras as high as 20' as posted in the forum and limited the picture width of 12' width max in the photos.
Trail cameras are ideally built for a flat plane positioning and no more than 5' off the ground for maximum effective results. Does that make sense? There's nothing wrong with tinkering as that's how I've found out good and bad results. Thieves are another issue that causes high posted angled down cameras and another story in itself. Hope this helped out.

That Tasco image is super too. Tinker around and see what's best for your setting and you'll know what's worth the battery burning power and what isn't.
TCG if you post your night blaster Moultrie that high angled down you best back the targeted area up or you'll white wash it out cause it's killer at night!
