Does anybody do it? I started today and some tree's it was flowing like crazy and others their was nothing. The one good thing is that we are loosing snow pretty fast. This weekend were suppose to get 1.5 inches of rain with about a foot and a half of snow left on the ground. Sure will be intersting getting to them trees.

Don't have any tree's around me for it. Do you do anything extra to make it table ready, or is it ready straight out of the tree?

You have to boil it down till you think it's ready. Everybody has their difference on how much boiling should take place. It takes 41 gallons of sap to get a gallon of syrup. It comes out of the tree pretty much like sugar water.
