Deer rubs

Mrtrailcam1 post got me thinking. How many of you think that bucks checke rubs and scrapes all year long. Do any of you keep your cameras on rubs or scrapes all season.

I've never had a buck come back to reuse his rub, same goes for scrapes. Get more doe pics than anything on scrapes, but I'm dealing with urban deer.

I have lots of pic of bucks using rub lines and scrape line that other deer have put down. Lots of does also use both mostly at night , I hunt them by setting up down wind about 40 yards and a lot of mature bucks travel these rub lines. I will say we live in crop areas where ground is 90 percent crops to woods.

Thats a huge rub. wonder how much time it takes a buck to create it.

Is the date right on that camera? It seems like all the bigger bucks around here have that claw in the front also.

yes date is correct, right below a bow stand here for a week does and bucks walked up to this rub but the big guy never showed up while i was on stand,alot of other shooters did but I held out and had tag soup. and worth it

I ended up with tag soup also, seems like they always know when your their and not their. Once in awhile they do slip up though.
