Wildgame Innovations N6 Review
The delay goes down to 15 seconds and has 30S, 1min, 2, 5, 30 minutes. Trigger time is 0.946 without flash and 1.09 with flash. Picture quality is good and the IR array is strong and some animals may get washed out if to close. Day pictures are sharp and have good color. The camera also has a degree of motion blurr. The camera comes in a satin black plastic case. It is about five inches X five inches and a little over two inches thick. There are four loops on the corners that will allow either straps or bungee cords. There are 30 IR emitters that go around the main camera lens. These throw a good amount of light down range. Below the array is the PIR and the light sensor. The LCD is across the bottom front next to the external on/off button. There is also a 6v external battery port on the side of the camera for use with thier WGI 6v battery box. The bottom is a hinged door that opens up to expose the battery compartment (4 C cells) and SD/USB card ports. Because of this hinge/door arrangement the camera can't be set up on its bottom without some other support to keep it upright. There is a good seal in the hinged door to keep water out. Programming is easy and the instruction booklet was easy to follow and has good graphics to help the user. For $70-100 this is a neat little cam that has picture and video.
When the camera was first released it along with the other cams in the N series had problems with White-Outs. Since then WGI has fixed this issue.
The camera sensed out to 48ft when temps were in the mid 60's, and the IR flash easily reached the advertised 50ft.
This camera took 945 pictures and 13 videos over an 8 week period using Rayovacs.
