Spypoint IR Booster Stuck On Empty Spypoint IR Booster Stuck On

I rigged my Moultrie M80X with my Spypoint Low Glow IR Booster last night. Everything seemed to work fine except the LED's on the booster stay on. I checked all the booster's batteries. They are old but all showed 1.45 volts. Do you think a new set of batteries will solve the problem?

I also had issues with the 2 posts becoming unsoldered at the sensor eye. Sent it back when it was under warranty and all's well. It never stayed on but, never worked.

Spypoint said they will fix the transmitter free even though it's out of warranty!!

I was going to replace it with a UWAY Low Glow Extender because I like their tiny transmitter. The Spypoint's transmitter is way too big and cumbersome to place on a camera's LED array.
