It's going to be a cold one !!

Muzzleloader season opened yesterday and ends this Tuesday! It's going to be a high of -4 on Tuesday with windchill way lower then that yet!! But I will be out hunting deer with the smoke pole !! Mabey I can get a late season buck on the ground !!! Anyone else ever hunt deer in real cold weather !!

Once upon a time it snowed and would get down to zero during season. It's not that bad unless the wind is blowing. It's -7 this morning with 8 inches of snow. Bow season goes until Jan 15th, but there are no deer left to hunt.

Well right now the temp guage is showing 5 degrees and the wind chill is -20 degrees and its supposed to get worse as the day goes on!! When I went to bed last night it was still 40 degrees! it cooled off super fast !!
