Crows
Going to take my Foxpro out on my uncles land tomorrow and try and kill few crows for him !! Ai occasionly call a few in and shoot at them lol but do any of you have any experience with crows ?? Hopefully I can have some pictures for you all !!
Re: Crows
I crow hunted a LOT growing up, don't do go as much anymore. I have found that a few decoys seem to help some. I use 3-4 crows and 1 owl. The other thing I have learned is DON'T, under any circumstances, shoot the first crow that comes in alone. He is likely a scout and if he don't come back, his buddies won't come to you.

Re: Crows
Well you were right about not shooting the first crow !! Every setup there was one that came in first and just circled !! Then went off a little ways and then the others came in !! We shot a few crows but I do think that a few decoys would help out allot!! Seems like a fun thing to do!! Hopefully I can do more of it !!
Re: Crows
I don't eat the crows here. I don't think they would be that great. They eat to much roadkill around here. My guess is they would be a LOT darker than chicken. Birds that fly typically have dark meat. Birds that walk are usually white meat.

Re: Crows
We just threw our kills away ! I never even thought of eating them I doubt they would be my favorite meal lol ! It kind of seems like a waste just pitching them but they can put a hurting on corn and cause some damage ! It was fun and it wasnt the last time im going to hunt crows !!
