as i type this i am layin in bed in new york on my last turkey hunt of the year. we arrived yesterday and it really is a beautiful state(to bad all the jack wagons have ruined it with allthe gun laws). the birds are not gobbling well and that only adds to the bitter side of the bitter sweet reality that in but 4 days time my turkey season will be over. i managed to get an eye on a bird this evening and watched him go to roost so hopfully he will pitch out and land right where he flew up from. if he does he will be in range. fingers are crossed!
