How's your acorn crop? Empty How's your acorn crop?

Have alot of acorns on our properties this year. Both red and white are producing well. Had a very wet spring and the acorns are all of good size as well as the persimmons. Didn't realize just how fast the Chinkapin oaks produce mast. Have seen them under 15ft tall and loaded with acorns. The nuts are the same size as a Poast oak acorn. A great tree for someone looking to plant oaks on their property and live long enough to see it produce acorns. Only problem is around here a deer walks 30ft in any direction and they walk head on into an oak tree. Can't ever really find a hot tree to hunt around.
