Still chasing

The other day I saw a buck still chasing a doe Isn't the rut suppost to be over by now

We were doing some drives yesterday and on one of the drives one guy saw alot of doe and i guess a litte 3 point took this as his chance and started chasing some of them and grunting. Rut actually extends for a long time but the peak of the rut is over and all the hunting kind of breaks it up.

Rut actually extends into about the beginning-middle of january in most mid-north eastern states. It just gets so broken up by gun seasons that you don't see much activity during that time. If there wouldn't be any gun seasons you would still see alot of bucks chasin does this time of year.
