what was your 1st trail camera?
What was your first trail camera ever? Mine was the WGI s1.3x it was a decent camera but it started to get wacky so i sold it and i want to buy a better one next summer
It did take fairly good pictures for a $35.00 camera!
So hear what your 1st ever camera was and if you have a picture from it post it

My 1st camera was a WGI N6. 1 month shy of being a year old I had to send it in cause it started getting whiteouts. Did very well for the $62 I gave for it

Moultrie 35mm. Nothing like standing around Walmart for an hour waiting on film to be developed, to only get pics of the grass or limbs moving. Then you buy another roll of film and another set of batteries. They were not cheap to run, so it was hard to get very many good buck pics.

My first was a Bushnell(I think) that you stretched a string across their trail and when they hit the string it recorded the time. One event then you had to reset it.
Then I got a Stealth 35MM.As was said those cams were expensive to operate.I would mail mine off and had to wait to get the pics and another roll of film back.A couple rolls a year was all i could afford.
Then life got good and I got a Moultrie I40 which I didn't like except the quality of the pics so sent it back and traded it for 2 Stealth I590's.Then I became addicted and have not been able to kick the addiction of buying cameras.

Mine was a WGI S2. I worked it over for almost 2 seasons 24-7 365 and the flash got yellow and dull and then just stopped taking pic's all the time when tested with a new 2nd cam I bought a WGI S4. It crapped out to in one year.
WGI S2
WGI S4 Same hog but a year younger

Re: what was your 1st trail camera?
My first build was a P41 whiteflash homebrew unit purchased in August 2007 for $335.00 from Bob Turner [aka Outdoorbob] who resides in Tennessee. My second homebrew unit was purhased two weeks later, again from Bob and exactly the same as the first.
Bob is the person who is initally responsible for what has developed into a hopeless addiction, and now that I build them he is at least partially responsible for my having no extra "play" money in my pockets 99% of the time.....
This is one of the very first pictures the cams took for me.
