Code Blue sweet corn nectar - G man's winter recipe
No I'm not hog hunting with this but, I had an idea before going to Bass Pro today. I knew the Shinola corn spray and swamp donkey corn spray worked like a charm on the deer. Heck, deer love corn we all know.
I'm all out of my COTC now so now it's time to make my own 30:06 mix as my local area isn't stocking it anymore but, Gander Mtn is as I saw today for $14.36 for 40lbs.
Make my own with:
Whole corn
Milo seed
Black sunflower seeds
Mineral powder ( W.I., Lucky Buck etc.) or
not use mineral powder and pump spray this nectar all over the food, ground and nearby limbs etc.
I'll add more salt and water to dilute it down to a more liquid form like the Shinola spray is. make it go much farther too!
This stuff smells way better than the Shinola being it smells just like sweet corn on the cob!!
You can rely on me to field test concoctions to see if they perform. My deer herd is addicted to all the junk food I put out and fight off each other for it!
What I normally use and is $9 - 12.50 a bottle and I dilute it 50-50.
New sweet corn nectar syrup concentrate I'll dilute and add salt. $11.25 gal

[font=Verdana]I've got many deer here with witchy attitudes for real! Once I spray this mega sweet corn on the regular shelled corn they'll be thinking their at a BBQ dinner![/fontBryce 21 wrote:Jeez, I think she likes it.
