1st check of my trapping season

well guys i had about 26 traps to check today and i caught 3 coons and two rats i also put out about 10 more traps! The one coon was a little guy so i released him.

This was the 1st coon that i caught



1st DP catch of the season



the little dink // yes he was muddy ( He stayed around and watched me remake the set lol)



1st rat caught in a #110 at a large run




2nd rat This guy got caught in a funny position lol



was gona try to get a tailgate shot but forgot lol so heres todays keep



so todays catch was 3 coon 2 rats hopefully we can get the rat count up a little tomorrow!

Whats coon hides bringing this year?

well skinned they weill be around 10-12 dollars

What's the most valuable fur you're after?

10 bucks a coon has got me thinking.

well coons pay decent but the rats you can really stack up!! there easy to skin /flesh stretch and dry! and for one thats completely done i can get 10-13.00 for!! and i know guys that catch up to 80 rats each day!!! Makes some good pocket money

But I dont really do it for the money! its more of a hobby that you get a little profit back from (sometimes) Hunting you spend allot of money and dont get any of it back but you have a fun time . Trapping i have fun and get my money back as well and usually a little extra cash to!
