I use either Montec G5 or Muzzy 100. I used to use Crimpson Talon. Those worked well, but they got a little pricey. $30 for a 3 pack + $15-20 for blades

I would pick the Muzzy's over the Montecs. The muzzy's are all my dad shoots. He's been using them since '07-08 and has had great luck with them. You can usually get a 6pk. for $30-$35. Muzzy's are what I shot my first deer with(Dropped dead in his tracks) So far I've only gotten one deer with the Montecs. Another good thing about the Muzzy's are that the blades are not Fixed like the Montecs, so you can change them if one chips or gets dull. Both fly great.

I have been using the 2 blade RAGE broadheads they have done well for me but they are also on the pricy side and if you hit the shoulder bone with the mechanicle broadheads they are apt to break ! If not they wont penatrate the deer .. So I have been thinking about switching to a fixed broadhead since they will do the job and for allot less!!

If it will get the job done and leave a good blood trail then that should be good enough for me!!

The broadheads that i use are just a plain standered broad head nothing fancy but they sure do tear up the deer! I have already made a shot where it went through the shoulder bone and the deer didnt go far at all! i really like them !

Broadheads I use
