I read the MFG also says something about new anti-blur technology, slow down Speedy!

MFG Says Anti-Blur Tech, but only suppost to work at Transitions. Does help a bit there, but not much. I was trying to walk "Deer Speed" in the above pics

Re: W6E, So far so good
I really like my 2011 micro 6's and comparing them to your 2012 version I can say pic quality is a big step back by wgi and much more motion blur. The amount of light it puts down range however is AWESOME! I bet that cam is a beast for getting long range daytime pics. It will be interesting to see how bright the night time pics stay as the batteries go down and what overall batt life is (I avg 2 1/2-3 months on the 2011's). If wgi improves pic quality and motion blur reduction in the 2013 version than it would be the ultimate food plot cam and give the m80 a run for it's money. Keep us updated.

Re: W6E, So far so good
Seen pics from the 11' Micro 6's and the 11's blow this yrs away in overall pic quality.
Was also wondering what battery life will be. Since the IR's throw so much light down range, you'd think the battery life would be less, but I guess i'll find out
I also wonder how the W8E does as far as flash range, since it has even more IR's than the Micro 6's

Pic trigger speed is 1.04 - 1.09sec at night. Video is between 2-2.3 sec day & night

What's the lowest pic delay setting (15 sec on the 2011) and does the ir led's have a brake light effect?

Lowest delay is 15 sec. Has a bit of a brake light effect, stays on for about a second.

Jeff,
Does that cam have an extenal power source plug in? Most of my cams that have that capability I've switched over to. Some locations don't always allow this because cover n concealment is more important. You already know I'm an advocate for light at night so this WGI sure does lighter up for sure!

Yes it does For now i'm gonna keep using the internals just to see what the battery life is. Rated at 3 month. My N6E is rated the same. The N6E has taken a couple hundred pics thus far and the battery meter still shows full. Hopefully the W6E does the same

No doubt about using the internals for as long as you can especially for the cost of batteries nowadays.
I suppose you could use the enloop brands if it uses that size. I'm not all that familliar with those WGI cams.
Keep us posted!

The W6E uses AA's so enloops would work in that. I Was surprised how small it was when I got it out of the package (Smaller than my hand )

Re: W6E, So far so good
Checked the cam, and looks like the rain did make the pic quality a bit worse.
Heres a link to some pics from it.

Re: W6E, So far so good
The batteries died a few days ago. Did fairly well for the Pics/ Vids it took. Took about 350-400 Pics and a little over 420 Vids during that time. Only 60-70 of those videos were in the daytime.
