Bow hunting coyotes

Any of you guys ever get one with the bow. Think I'm headed out before school to try for a little bit.

My brother shot one. We were done hunting and going across the back of his land when he spotted a yote coming across the neighbors field. I kneeled down in the brush trying to spot him in the grass. I saw my brother draw back and I finally located the yote at about 30ft coming dead at me. In 5 seconds this thing is going to be in my lap and I'm getting very nervous that he's not shooting. He had to let it clear some brush and shot it quartering to and it dropped in it's tracks. The Thunderhead exited out the stomach and cut the thing almost in half. All of the guts just fell out. Don't know how it did so much damage, but that was the most damage I've ever seen a broadhead do. Hope you have the same result.

Allot of guys get some with the bows while deer hunting but i dont know allot of people that use compound bows to hunt them! i read some articles in magazines about using crossbows for them near houses and towns.. getting them with a gun is a challenge in itself and anyone who gets them with a bow has gotta be a good shot!!

Nop, I sat in only 2 spots and called for a little while. I'm going to start putting bait out in them places. Just read a story in the Fur Fish Game. This weekend me and a buddy are going all out for coyote so hopefully then.
