This was taken along time ago when their was no snow. We had a bunch then it rained. We have a ton of it now. Now i'm trying for otter and some pesky rabbits.

That's a pretty sight! Wish we had ya down here to knock the population down. We get tired of getting pics at night of coons grazing in the clover plots.

Me and Grandpa sure did have a fun time together. We pulled traps today, but I put money on it we set some tommorrow. He used to trap for food but that was it. Now we only trap for the fur and some meat to bait coyotes. I got next year all planned out already.

I love to trap its allot of fun and sometimes you make a little money to!! Plus the deer have allot more corn to eat to lol

Bryce.. How much you getting per hide this year? I remember before the fur trade tanked, we were getting $40 - $50 per prime hide... That was in the mid 80's..... Great pic by the way!!!

I haven't paid much attention to fur prices in the last several years.

For the big ones I got $30 and the smaller ones I got $18. Couldn't be much happeir with them. A couple of years ago I got $7 for my big ones.

some guys are getting an average of 80.00 a coon in the fur sales up north its worth shipping them up there!

I might try shipping up their next year. The guy that I sells mine to is really nice though so not sure what I'm doing next year.
