First of the year for me :)

I had to leave for work a little later this morning and I looked out the window and seen a Groundhog out in the field !  I't was about a 175 yrd shot but the 22-250 hit its mark , Can't wait to get a few more ! !

I keep lookin out the window here at the house but I haven't seen one yet this year. I haven't even seen one dead on the road. I bet I see one in the week or so.

Yeah there were three in the field when I shot and the rest ran ! I will be posting pics of the other two soon hopefully very soon lol ! They should start coming out more when things hear up a bit !

Killed two more today ! I got them on video ! No pictures yet might go pick them up later and then snap a kill picture ! Both of them hit the ground hard after the 22-250 hot them !

Got my first pic of one this week in the clover, so at least one is up and moving here.

Truth is I do not eat them and there fur is worthless! I kill them since they are a huge problem in the fields! I have seen tractors hit a den hole and the ground caves in and resulting in flipping the tractor! And we have horses that are in the fields to and we also ride them ! And you can imagine what happens when a horse steps in a den hole!
